Quotes

"I find her to be a dedicated and multi-talented young artist with a distinctive voice both as a drummer, and as a composer.
Jamie’s commitment to her artistic vision is strong, and her music is highly personal in nature, coming from the jazz tradition, but embracing multiple genres and incorporating a cinematic and even inspirational tone at times."

- Brad Turner

"Jamie was one of the few who, right from the beginning, was searching for a way to express herself using as many styles of music as she could….. She was a pleasure to teach because she took the music seriously and was dedicated to learning about it. She was always well prepared and learned new concepts very quickly."

- Dave Robbins

"The hard work of learning her craft and developing technical skill is now bearing fruit as her craft and skill transcend into art that speaks with a unique, contemporary voice. With the dedication and positive energy that she brings to her music and her presence on the scene, I believe Jamie is going to assume an important leadership role within her generation of young jazz players."
